clinton is waking up now in a new york hospital. she is being treated for a blood clot that formed after her fall and concussion that happened a few weeks ago. want to bring in dr. sanjay gupta, our chief medical correspondent. sanjay, explain this for us because, first of all, when you think about it, she developed this blood clot related to a concussion. you would think maybe the clot formed in the brain, but that's not necessarily the case. >> no, it's not necessarily the case. and i think saying it's related to the concussion, that may be putting that wrong impression possibly in people's minds. there's a really simple reason why, suzanne. she's being treated with blood thinners, or anti-coagulants. if this were a blood clot on top of the brain or around the brain, you wouldn't do that because that could worsen the bleeding and prevent an operation from being performed, if that is necessary. again, no one is saying that's the case here. you're absolutely right. the typical sort of blood clots that are treated with blood thinners are something known as dvt, for example, you may have h

amendment. really the religious freedom restoration act. signed by president clinton. it says that persons if they have any religious rights violate and they are can challenge that the government has a high burden to overcome any kind of burden to your free exercise. they use the word persons there but didn't define it if you go to the regular definition of persons in the congressional code. corporations, companies, associations they are all includeded on or abouts a closely held business their religious rights are violated. individuals have no constitutional right to work at these places. you know what you are getting into. if you apply for the job. you are working there now. haven't heard of any individuals complaining. that's a separate situation that could come down the line possibly. though i don't expect it. this is just b. just basic religious freedom not asking for much here thanks for being here. as i said a very important precedent. let me know. does this violate hobby lobby's religious freedom let me know what you think at twitter dave briggs tv. college kid tossed in the slamme

the house, the deal in question includes a return to the clinton era tax rates for families making more than four hundred $50,000 and individuals making more than $400,000. joe biden is meeting with house democrats. the vast majority of them seem ready to support the measure making its way through the house. with the new congress coming in on thursday, if the measure is not passed within that time, it will have to be completely reintroduced in the new congress. republicans are said to me in about five minutes to continue a discussion about whether or not to support the measure that was sent to them by the senate in the early morning hours. some tweaks coming from reporters in the halls of the capital. the political wire says democratic leaders say they will not take up a bill if it is amended by house republicans. "we are done. , was signed by brinbrin on march 10 -- president clinton on march 10, 2000. this bill was to provide extended care services for our veterans to make improvements in health care programs at the department of veterans affairs. i was chairman of the health subcommittee at the time and i was able to advance this bill and i'm very proud that president bill clinton signed this. the fourth bill was the cardiac arrest survival act of -- president clinton signed this on november 13, 2000. it prevents as many as 50,000 unnecessary deaths each year in the united states by using what's called a.e.d.'s, which are automatic external defibrillators. this is now allow -- this has now allowed people to be trained to save lives. this act was very important and i'm glad that it was signed as my bill. the fifth one that i'm very proud of that president bush signed is dealing with asthma conditions. self-administration of medication was prevented in schools because they had no drugs allowed and so many children had asthma and they needed epy pen or -- epi pen or abeauty rol, and if it wasn't available they could
